The Department of Commerce of Hunan Province and the Trade Development & Cooperation Center of CCPIT announced on August 30 that the 7th China (Hunan) International Food Expo is to be held at Hunan International Conference & Exhibition Center from November 8 through 11, 2013.
The annual expo, the most influential one in central China, has become a great event for Hunan food industry.
The expo is themed “Green, Safety, Development”. Its exhibition area covers nearly 22,000 square meters, with 800 standard booths being established. Over 600 domestic and international food and relevant enterprises will be invited, regarding food raw materials, agricultural and sideline products, cold and fresh food, dairy beverages, tobacco products, confectionery, health food, children's food, packaging machinery, marketing services, etc. Among them, green food exhibitors account for over 45%. The expo will attract not only various local food, but also Taiwan food, Vietnam specialty, Thailand cate, Malaysian tea, German beer, etc.
The organizing committee of the expo says that more than 70,000 people are expected to attend the expo for visit, business negotiation, and procurement.
