According to the Tourism Bureau of Jishou City on February 6, the promotion event of 2014 China's Most Valuable Cultural (Heritage) Tourism Destination, co-hosted by China Culture Relics Protection Foundation, China Tourism News, and Xinhua Mobile TV, was recently concluded. Hunan's Jishou City and Anhua County got such an honor.
After initial qualification, public voting, and expert review, 50 winners comprising of 14 cities (counties) and 36 scenic areas were selected and released via media. In the meantime, the winners have been invited to a large domestic and overseas promotion and exhibition event organized by the organizing committee starting from mid-January, 2015.
