The Third Online Hunan Cultural Festival, themed "Chinese Values—New Sail for Hunan ", was closed in Changsha on February 5. The sponsor declared that the festival provides public support for Hunan's healthy net-culture as well as civilized and harmonious web environment with various forms and abundant connotations.
The festival was divided into three sections: discovery, forum and practice, involving 23 brilliant theme activities in 14 cities and autonomous prefecture. The event covered over 20 industries and sectors, including IT, animation, film, television and e-commerce. Lasting for 6 months, it not only had 99 million click rates in the special topics, but also attracted more than 8 million netizens to participate in the activities through vote, contribution, competition and forwarding, building rich atmosphere for the online cultural development.
