Deputy Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Sun Jinlong met in Changsha with Secretary of National Assembly of Hungary Dr. Pesti Imre and his delegation on the afternoon of Nov. 9.
Mr. Sun welcomed the guests and briefed on the economic and social development of Hunan. He said that China and Hungary bear longstanding friendship, and thanks to the promotion of Sino-Hungary cooperative partnership, Hunan and Hungary have better channel to further communication and exchange. Both sides have profound collaboration opportunities in such fields as agriculture, science and education, medicine, and automobile industries. Hunan viewed the visit as an important chance to enhance high-level communications, promote mutual exchange, strengthen bilateral economic and trade, to achieve win-win results, he added.
Dr. Pesti Imre remarked that as a country included in China’s “Belt and Road” initiative, Hungary is willing to reinforce the communication and cooperation with China and Hunan in the future.
