The Press Conference on Hunan's Cultural Export Policy & Hong Kong-Hunan Cultural and Creative Industry Cooperation & Exchange Conference was held in Changsha on December 4. During the conference, 18 key culture-export enterprises and projects were conferred plates and they can enjoy the newly-released preferential policies accordingly.
The Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province jointly issued "Opinions on Supporting the Export of Cultural Products and Service", which is divided into three parts with 12 articles.
The document focuses on supporting industries with comparative advantage and nationwide influence and the export of their derivative products, like broadcasting & TV, new media, publishing & printing, animation game, entertainment, cultural and creative crafts and arts, so as to spread Huxiang culture abroad.
The enterprises included in the key enterprise list can enjoy preferential policies in terms of departure and entry, settlement of exchange, customs clearance, financial service and tax preference.
In addition, Hunan Province will formulate and promulgate the "Catalogue for the Guidance of the Export of Cultural Products and Service of Hunan" once every two years.
