The first Hengyang Tourism Commodities Fair is scheduled to be unveiled on May 12, 2012. The two-day event is to highlight the unique charm of local travel commodities including a series of famous specialities in the city.
The fair aims to promote R&D, manufacturing and marketing of Hengyang's characteristic travel commodities, and further increase the added-value of travel products and boost the city's travel industry.
Besides the opening ceremony and closing ceremony, the fair entertains visitors with three theme activities: Tourism Commodities Fair, Tourism Commodity Packaging Design Contest and Happy Tour in Hengyang in celebration of the coming China National Tourism Day on May 19. Folk customs in the city will also be presented at the opening ceremony.
