Han Yongwen, vice governor of Hunan Province inspected construction of key projects including Changsha urban rail transportation and Huanghua International Airport, along with chiefs from departments directly under Hunan Provincial People's Government, Hunan Provincial Department of Land and Resources and Changsha Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-rural Development. Deputy Secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee Zhang Jianfei accompanied Governor Han.
Mr. Han and his delegation visited the construction sites of some stations of Metro line 2. Zhang Jianfei and Li Jun prepared progress reports on the construction. It is learnt that the construction of metro line 3 and 4 will start at the end of 2011 and line 2 is expected to open for use in 2014.
Han fully confirmed the construction plan of Changsha's rail transportation. He stressed it is imperative, in the next stage, to give quality and safety priority and build the rail transportation to a network composed by lines, so that the achievement satisfies citizens' traffic needs and accelerates the city's development.
