The National Conference on Economic and Trade Overseas Exhibition was convened in Changsha on the morning of August 4. On the theme of "Overseas Exhibition for 60 Years: Great Vision and New Pattern", this conference was hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and was undertaken by Hunan sub-council. More than 150 overseas exhibition sponsors from China and 300 experts in this area from both at home and abroad attended the conference.
At the conference, Wang Jinzhen, vice-president of CCPIT delivered the speech "Inheriting the Achievement of the Past 60 Years and Promoting the Overseas Exhibition to a New Level". He analyzed the problems in the development of China's exhibition industry on the basis of both our successful experience and international exhibition development so as to set new targets for the future development of the exhibition industry.
Lv Jijian, vice-director of the Department of Trade in Services and Commercial Service of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, introduced new plan and managerial concept for the exhibition industry.
Gu Chao, head of the Exhibition Department of CCPIT, delivered a report on the approval and management of 2010 national economic and trade overseas exhibition.
