More than 100 artists of Yueyang City attended the First Wetland Ecological Salon in East Dongting Lake on December 28, 2014. They called for the public to pay attention to the ecology in east Dongting Lake and promote protection of the wetland in various ways such as photography, painting and calligraphy exhibitions, and forums.
At the salon, the Dongting Lake Ecological Photo Exhibition themed Homeland was held, displaying 100 ecological photos and 75 excellent modern Chinese ink paintings on ecological protection. Over 20 entrepreneurs including Jiang Hua, initiator of the salon, issued Wetland's Letter of Thanks, calling for ecological wetland and green travel.
