2013 Dameishan Mountain Cultural Tourism Year Kicks off to Display Magic Beauty and Culture of Loudi.

The 2013 Dameishan Mountain Cultural Tourism Year & Thousands of Bicycles' Driving Tour of Loudi began with the performances of Meishan martial arts and Xinhua folk songs on the morning of December 24, 2012 in Changsha.

As Loudi-Xinhua Expressway officially opened to traffic on December 23 and Ziquejie Terrace elevated into a national 4A-level scenic spot, it has taken less time for tourists to Loudi, a more and more beautiful city.

Loudi Mayor Yi Pengfei promoted the event. Themed "exploring magic Meishan Mountain and experiencing charming China", the event will last from January 1 to December 31, 2013. Various special travel routes featuring geological wonders, ecological leisure, journey of Hunan Army, farming-reading culture have been designed, covering eight major scenic spots (Zeng Guofan's Hometown, Memorial Hall of Cai Hesen, Daxiong (Big Bear) Mountain, Meishan Dragon King's Palace, Ziquejie Terrace, Meijiang National Geological Park, Boyue Cave, and Fengjia Peach Blossom Land), three drifting sites (Feishui Drifting in Longshan Mountain, Ziquejie, and Youxi River), and 33 starred hotels in Loudi. Unique programs and events will be held in these scenic spots.

Additionally, Loudi intends to issue 100,000 sets of coupons of hotels and nine scenic spots as well as the same number of coupons of scenic spot tickets in Hunan Province, from which tourists can enjoy benefits of 120 million yuan.
