During this“Golden Week” holiday, Zhangjiajie Huangshizhai Ropeway received 69,000 tourists, Including 54,673 tourists from Oct 1st to Oct 4th, an increase of 25.37% equal to 11,062 tourists than the same period of last year; including 18,372 tourists on Oct 3rd, which created a historic record of tourists flow for Zhangjiajie Huangshizhai Ropeway single-day. Among the tourists that all received, individual travelers took up about 70% and team tourists about 30%.
In order to response to the travelling peak during this holiday, all staffs in Yellow Stone Village(Huangshizhai) took up their quarters. They started to work at every 6:00 and sent the last tourist to the downhill, and then they had to check and repair equipments untill 12:00pm.
For the sake of shortening the queue-up time for tourists during the travelling peak, The company had presented warm prompts about the number to collecting ticekts and waiting time on the electronic signs and light box, so tourits can learn about the information to make suitable arragement for their schedule. This measurement guaranteed ropeway’s carry capacity with 2,200 passengers per hour and less than 30 minutes for queue-up.
