According the source from Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, “Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Low-carbon Implementation Project”was approved by National Development and Reform Commission of Hunan recently. It means that the first low-carbon pilot unit in Hunan willbe put into practice soon.
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is the only provincial low-carbon pilot unit. Based on principle “Protection first, Development second”, It will keep a low-carbon view by creating ecological civic village and building villages integration. As planned, low-carbon scenic construction will go though 4 stages. It is estimated that Zhangjiajie National Forest Park will lead to the peak of greenhouse gas emission to 2015. By 2018, China’s first low-carbon scenic area will be built, When green buildings will make up 100% among new buildings, The use rate of electrocars and bicycles covering 100% among public traffic.
