From September 23 to September 25, Under the sponsor from Chinese society of cultural relics, FAO global important agriculture heritage China project office, Hunan travel bureau, administration bureau of Hunan province and Loudi people’s government, Ziquejie Terrace Heritage Protection Seminar that organized by Xinhua people’s government kicks off, where 30 experts and scholars from circles of national cultural relics, water conservancy, agriculture and protection on ancient architectures heritages gather, tasting the elegy of fall of the terrace and probing into the development plans on terrace.
Wu Meihua, The member of Loudi municipal standing committee and director of propaganda administration, hosts the opening ceremony; Deng Guanglv, The county magistrate of Xinhua people’s government delivers a gracious speech of welcome; relevant officials also attend the meeting and express their congratulation to the host units; ten experts and scholars make a statement in terms of the protection and development of Ziquejie terrace.
It is pointed out that due to the great scale, high quality, profound history, superior location and sound inheritance, Ziquejie terrace is rare cultural heritage and travel resource in the world; the declaration on the global important agriculture heritage project should be quickly initiated by Xinhua people’s government, so that Ziquejie will get rapid development and the regional economic development of Xinhua county will be prospered.
