Zheng Yaping, investigator of Zhangjiajie Tourism Bureau headed the travel marketing team to Zhengzhou City of Henan Province on November 13. They participate in the promotion conference of winter travel products themed "taking a high-speed railway, appreciating autumn leaves, viewing snow". More than two hundred workers from travel administrative departments of Zhengzhou and surrounding areas, travel businessmen and reporters attended the conference.
At the promotion, the team demonstrated the fabulous scenery and colorful folk customs of Zhangjiajie, the World Natural Heritage, by means of video, pictures and words, and promoted its abundant travel resources and achievements.
Mr. Zheng elaborated on the winter discount policies of Wulingyuan Scenic Area, Huanglong (Yellow Dragon) Cave and Baofeng Lake for tourists by high-speed railway. From November 20, 2012 to February 28, 2013, those who travel to Changsha and then Zhangjiajie by high-speed railway will enjoy discounted tickets for the places mentioned above at 160 yuan/person, 45 yuan/person and 40 yuan/person respectively with their high-speed railway ticket (valid within five days) and ID cars.
