Hu Bojun, secretary of the CPC Zhangjiajie Municipal Committee, met a South Korean delegation headed by Mr. Jo Yu-haeng, governor of Hadong County, on the afternoon of October 29. The two sides held a cordial talk about increasing friendly exchanges and promoting common prosperity.
Secretary Hu extended a warm welcome to the delegates. He pointed out that the wider cooperation between Zhangjiajie and Hadong has benefited the people of both sides. The cooperation has enjoyed continuous development and innovation in content and mode. He expressed his hope that both sides would enhance communications and cooperation so as to yield even greater benefits. He added that Zhangjiajie will continue to glean experience from Hadong, especially in working to improve the local economy, social development and quality of life.
"I am always very impressed with the great changes I see whenever I come here. I will bring back the good experience of Zhangjiajie to bolster up the development of Hadong. I look forward to more and closer exchanges between us," said Mr. Jo Yu-haeng.
