The cornerstone-laying ceremony of Xiangtan Yiwu-style Small-Commodities Town was held on March 19, marking the official launching of this project.
Located at the southeast corner of the junction of Xiangtan West 2nd Ring Road and 320 National Highway, the project covers an area of 1,500 mu (100 hectares). The total 6-billion-yuan investment will be injected in 3 phases. The first phase covers an area of 500 mu (about 33.33 hectares) with a building area of 73 square meters. It will be completed in 4 years with an investment of 1 billion yuan.
This project is of great significance to giving full play to the role of Xiangtan West Commerce and Trade Logistics Park, integrating market resources of Xiangtan City, expanding and strengthening commodity circulation of Yuhua District, consolidating the central role of Yuhua District in trade and business circle of the city, and building the business center of southwest Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster.
