The Second World Wingsuit Championship Kicks Off

The Second World Wingsuit Championship is scheduled to be held at Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province from October 11 to 13, 2013.

The 16 contestants for the competition are from nine countries, including New Zeeland, America, France, Austria, Hungary, Britain, Colombia, Norway and South Africa. According to this year’s competition rules, all contestants will jump from a 700-meter cliff, making a sharp turn in the valley at a speed of over 120km/h, then cross the cableway finish line to complete the course. The fastest one to complete the course wins.

Trail flight from October 10 to11

Knockout round selecting 8 qualifiers from 15 candidates on October 12

Final round at one o’clock p.m.on October 13 (Live broadcasting on Hunan TV)
