Hosted by the Chinese Language and Culture Education Foundation of China (CLCEF) and undertaken by Hunan Normal University, “2013 Chinese Culture in Overseas Countries—Leconte Indonesia Camp” is scheduled to be held in Indonesia. Recently, Deputy Secretary-General of CLCEF, Li Xianguo visited Hunan Normal University to select eligible teachers for overseas teaching and also held a symposium.
Mr. Li hoped that these teachers would implant a sense of social responsibility and carry forward solidarity and mutual assistance.
Efforts should be put to act as spreaders of excellent Chinese culture and messengers of Sino-Indonesian friendship, so as to accomplish their task fruitfully and splendidly.
Prof. Jiang Hongxin, vice president of Hunan Normal University stressed that teachers should carry the school spirit and do well in the task of spreading Chinese language and culture in Indonesia.
It was learned that the campaign will last for two weeks. During this time, the International College of Chinese Language and Culture of Hunan Normal University will offer various courses such as martial arts, dance, instrumental music, Chinese language, poetry and Chinese music to Indonesian Chinese youth.
