It was learnt from Changsha Frontier Inspection Station on January 3 that during the New Year’s Day holiday, Changsha Port received 7,359 passengers in total, and 55 entry-exit flights, increasing by 152.3% and 71.9% respectively compared with the previous year.
According to the principal of the station, the passenger flow peak during the New Year’s Day holiday was mainly driven by the increasing outbound tourists from Hunan. Particularly, Thailand, South Korea and German turned out to be the main destinations.
