Notice on price adjustment of Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain scenic areas has publicly posted recently, which said since September 19th 2013, the winter ticket price has changed from 225RMB per person during December 1st and February 28th to 258RMB per person all year around. (Entrance ticket price is 75RMB, Transportation costs including cable cars, eco-buses except forest sightseeing cable cars are 183RMB)
Notice also mentioned soldiers in active service, the disabled and the old over 70 years with valid certificate are 110RMB per person. Minors, students under the age of 24 with full-time bachelor degree or below, The aged over 60 but below 70, retired army cadres, martyrs lineal relatives and people living on minimus subsistence allowances are 155RMB per person.Children under 1.3 meter in height are free.
In addition, the hanging chair cableway on the top of the mountain costs 25RMB per person for one-way journey. Minors, students under the age of 24 with full-time bachelor degree or below, the aged over 60 but below 70, retired army cadres, martyrs lineal relatives and people living on minimus subsistence allowances with valid certificates enjoy the preferential price of 15RMB per time.
