Hunan College Dorm Festival 2011, which lasted over 3 months and involved 18 colleges and universities in 14 cities and prefecture, dropped the curtain on November 19 in Changsha. The representative dorm team from Hunan Mass Media Vocational Technical College won the first place and gained a reward of 10,000 yuan; each team member also got a G3 mobile phone from China (Hunan) Mobile.
At the final competition, students from the 18 colleges held high various banners and shouted loudly slogans to cheer for the participators. The 8 teams stood out from nearly one thousand dorm teams and went through first audition, quarter-finals and semifinals to the finals.
This college dorm festival was jointly held by Hunan Economic Radio 901 and Hunan Arts Radio 975 for the ninth time. It has become the largest, the longest-running and the most widely participated event among college activities in Hunan.
