Museum of CPC Shaoshan Special Party Branch Opens

The Museum of CPC Shaoshan Special Branch, another major patriotism education site at Mao Zedong Memorial Park was open to the public on the morning of July 1.

Chairman Mao Zedong and his wife Yang Kaihui founded the Shaoshan special Party branch in June 1925. It is said this branch is one of the earliest rural primary Party organizations across the country.

The general Party branch of Shaoshan Village started to build up this museum to further rescue and protect the precious historical materials of the CPC Shaoshan Branch.

This museum has five exhibition halls, with the exhibition area totaling 800 square meters. The Party branch's glorious history is presented through sound, light, electricity and restored scenes. The museum plays a role in patriotism education through different art forms, fully displaying the indomitable revolutionary spirits of Shaoshan people.
