On October 12, 2018, Mr. Ouyang Bin, Vice Mayor of Zhangjiajie City, met with the delegation of Houston Holocaust Memorial Hall. and Leaders from Zhangjiajie Tourism Bureau, Education Bureau, Cultural Broadcasting Bureau also attended this meeting.
Mr. Benjamin Warren said that this is his sixth visit to China, and every time he comes, he can see new changes and learn new things. Especially when I came to Zhangjiajie, I was so happy that I would share the story of this trip and introduce the scenery of Zhangjiajie to my friends. At the same time, I would like to invite the Zhangjiajie government and citizens to visit Houston, USA to see the local cityscape.
Houston Holocaust Memorial Hall is the United States' official memorial to the Holocaust. Adjacent to the National Mall in Washington, D.C., the USHMM provides for the documentation, study, and interpretation of Holocaust history. It is dedicated to helping leaders and citizens of the world confront hatred, prevent genocide, promote human dignity, and strengthen democracy.
