The seminar on the feasibility of tourist parkway connecting Loudi’s Shuifumiao Scenic Spot and Residence of Zeng Guofan was held on June 1, 2017. The seminar focused on the topics of possible challenges ahead for the project and how to attract investment.
The 150-kilometer-long tourist parkway (a total investment of about 5 billion yuan) will be Hunan’s first sightseeing road focusing on all-for-one travel. All-for-one travel reorganizes travel resources, promotes integrated development, achieves co-construction and sharing, and promotes coordinated development of the economy and society.
Upon completion, the parkway will connect scenic spots in 8 townships, including Shuifumiao National Wetland Park, Cai Heseng Memorial Hall, Xiangshan Scenic Spot, Jiufeng Mountain Forest Park, and of Zeng Guofan’s Residence. Entertainment venues featuring local culture will dot the route. Travel routes will be customized for those driving.
The project aims to promote Loudi’s industrial development, and improve the quality of travel services.
