On June 5th, The signing ceremony of the tourist special trains K2505/K2506 from Jinan to Zhangjiajie was held. Zhangjiajie Tourist Administration and Shandong China Railway Tourist Advertisement Limited Company signed an agreement to develop customer market in both regions, enhance provincial travel and satisfy increasing transportation need for tourists.
It is said that the fast train will open to the public on July 1st. It departs from Jinan at 9:40am, stopped at 38 train stations like Taishan, Heze, Jiaozuo and arrived in Zhangjiajie at 12:08 the next day. The whole journey takes 26 hours and 28 minutes.
