The Israel Government Tourist Office held a road show in Changsha on July 27, 2016. Nearly 40 travel Israel agencies, hotels, airlines, and local product suppliers came to expand Hunan market.
Israel has make concerted efforts to attract Chinese tourists in recent years, such as tour guide service in Chinese, Chinese version websites, and Chinese TV programmes and Chinese food in hotels.
This year, Israel Government Tourist Office plans to provide more preferential visa policies for Chinese tourists, together with more direct flights from Shanghai to Tel Aviv. Israel is expected to be an ideal tourist destination for Chinese people, instead of a country in TV news.
Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, which just opened to the public this July, was designed by Israel architecture Haim Dotan. It has drawn much attention by Israel media and people, and is expected to become a bridge of friendship between Hunan and Israel.
