Hunan Provincial People's Government held a travel promotion conference in Macao on October 12, to further promote the Hunan-Macao cooperation in travel service, cultural industry and high-end business industry.
Vice Governor of Hunan Province He Baoxiang briefed Hunan's travel resources and advantages at the conference. Zhang Zhiheng, director of Hunan Provincial Tourism Bureau, gave a comprehensive introduction to Hunan's travel industry. After the introduction of travel resources and advantages given by principals from Tourism Bureaus of Changsha, Yiyang, Chenzhou and Huaihua, Tang Xinhua, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Hunan Federation of Industry and Commerce, on behalf of over 20 chambers of commerce in Hunan, signed cooperation agreements with 9 associations in industries and business including Macao ASEAN International Chamber of Commerce (MAICC), Macao Convention & Exhibition Association (MCEA) and Macao Youth Entrepreneurs Association (MYEA).
Hunan, Macao's third biggest overseas tourists market, has sent many visitors to Macao, ranking fourth in terms of the number of visitors. Vice Governor He hoped that the conference will play a positive role in strengthening the understanding and cooperation in culture, travel, trade and economy between Hunan and Macao.
