On the evening of October 15, Hunan Governor, Du Jiahao met in Changsha with the delegation of the government committee of Marche Region of Italy headed by its Chairman, Mana Spina.
Du said that communication and cooperation between Hunan and Italy has strengthened in recent years, where companies like Fiat and Compagnia Italiana Forme Acciaio (CIFA) of Italy have build up a production base in Changsha. Also, Cooperation between CIFA and Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Development Co., Ltd. sets example for the business cooperation of two countries, laying a solid foundation for further exchange and cooperation. Since Marche Region is a significant production base of shipbuilding, leather and machinery, it holds huge cooperation space and potential for cooperation with Hunan. The Governor expected to further promote bilateral friendly exchange, expand cooperation in such fields as economy, culture, education and environmental protection, and enhance friendship between the two regions.
Mana Spina stated the tour of Hunan was impressive. She hoped that the bilateral cooperation would go on without end. She was convinced that the future of Marche Region and Hunan would be brighter if they learn from and supplement each other.
