China (Hunan)·Indonesia Investment and Cooperation Promotion Fair kicked off in Jakarta, capital of Indonesia on April 22.
Mei Kebao, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, Zhang Qiyue, Chinese ambassador to Indonesia, General Timur Pradopo, chief of Indonesian National Police and other top officials attended the fair.
Mr. Mei hoped more Indonesian enterprises could learn about Hunan and meanwhile Hunan-based enterprises could find their partners via this fair, thus to promote mutual economic, trade and cultural exchanges and cooperation.
Local enterprises in Indonesia could make profits in China, the world’s fastest growing and biggest potential market by taking advantage of Free Trade Area, declared Mr. Zhang. And he believed that as the investment environment in the Free Trade Area becomes more convenient, more Chinese enterprises will come to Indonesia for start-ups.
A batch of agreements were signed on the site of the fair. Longping High-Tech (Indonesian branch) is going to share its experience with an Indonesian company in hybrid rice cultivating and Hunan (China) Tianjian Investment Management Corp. is going to mine and manage the gold ore project in Bandung together with its Indonesian partner. In addition, Valin Group and Huaxia Mining Co., Ltd. reached an agreement of intent at the fair.
