Hong Kong CPPCC Members Visit Hunan to Promote Bilateral Relations

The delegation of Hong Kong CPPCC Members Association Limited headed by its president and vice director of the Committee for Learning and Cultural and Historical Data of CPPCC Tam Kam Kau arrived at Hunan for investigation on October 19. Executive Vice Governor of Hunan Chen Zhaoxiong and Vice Chairwoman of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee Wang Xiaoqin met with the delegation.

Registered in July, 2006, Hong Kong CPPCC Members Association Limited is an important patriotic society founded by Hong Kong CPPCC members distributed in 45 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and sub-provincial cities across the country. Most of the members are outstanding representatives of all circles in Hong Kong.

Tam Kam Kau pointed out that the trip to Hunan could deepen their understanding of Hunan, promote bilateral relations, and promote better exchange and cooperation between Hunan and Hong Kong.

During their first visit to Hunan, the delegates would make inspection in Changsha, Xiangtan, Zhuzhou and Zhangjiajie.
