On the evening of October 5, the 2012 Fifth China Changsha "Helong Cup" City Open Tournament on Sports Dance was launched, attracting 45 representative teams with over 1,300 players from places such as Guangdong, Chongqing and Shanghai to participate in the two-day competition.
At the opening ceremony, the players presented brilliant sports dance shows to the audience with varied styles from decency, elegance to charm. Their fabulous dance performances and superb dance skills were well received.
The competition is divided into two dance types, namely Latin Dance and Ballroom Dance. The judges will give a comprehensive score based on their performance from such six aspects as basic skills, music expressive force, dance style, dance organization and competition effect that are included in international evaluation standard.
The competition is aimed at providing a communication platform for the professional players and amateurs and promoting the synchronous development of sports dance and extensive mass fitness.
