Recently, the art troupe from Changde City has been successfully wrapped up its 49-day cultural exchange performance in Malaysia and Laos and returned to their hometown at the Taohuayua Airport.
With a total of 32 shows, the cultural exchange performances have been accessible to such 13 states in Laos and Malaysia as Vientiane, Kuala Lumpur, West Malaysia and East Malaysia, attracting 120,000 Chinese and overseas Chinese audiences. It contributes to the longest journey in the history of Changde’s cultural exchange with foreign countries.
The art troupe staged cultural performances themed “Kinship of China, Beauty of Hunan, and Charm of Changde” to the natives and received great popularity wherever they went. The deep friendship between China and Malaysia as well as Laos was fully reflected both in the performance planning and presentation motivating all the audiences. Some shows even became big hits. In particular, there was no single seats left at the auditorium for the whole 31 performances in Malaysia.
