Cambodia and Hunan to Strengthen Economic and Cultural Exchange

Deputy Director of the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Hunan Province Zhang Jianxin met in Changsha with the delegation of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia headed by its president Li Boning on July 21.

Zhang said that the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Hunan Province will enhance exchange and cooperation with the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, provide better services for overseas Chinese, and strengthen Hunan-born overseas Chinese associations. He expected the chamber to better function as a bridge and link, and to promote exchange and cooperation between Hunan and Cambodia in economy and culture at deeper levels.

President Li made it clear that the trip to Hunan aimed to learn about the development of hometown, increase ties with relevant government departments, and facilitate “going global” of more Hunan enterprises. The chamber is more than willing to make more contributions to increasing exchange and cooperation between Hunan and Cambodia.
