Recently, Beijing observed the grand press conference of 2013 Zhangjiajie International Country Music Week.
As reported, 2013 Zhangjiajie International Country Music Week will invite famous musician Gao Xiaosong to be the art director, and national A rated singer Lei Jia be the artist consultant.
From August 31th to September 4th, 25 well-known overseas country music teams coming from 23 different countries and 8 domestic music teams will show the angelic voices in beautiful Zhangjiajie.
In those international music bands, some once wrote theme song for music week, some once was invited to perform for royal personages such as Margaret Thatcher, Princess Soraya, some mix many kinds of musical styles and musical elements, some are full of national features.
Zhangjiajie International Country Music Week has successfully been held in both 2009 and 2011 and it has become a representative exchanging culture with foreign countries. China Ministry of Culture once gave special praise in an article, saying that “Zhangjiajie International Country Music Week was proved to be a successful practice since it skillfully used soft power to improve national image”.
