15th Hunan Tea Culture Expo Launched

The 15th Hunan Tea Culture Expo & the Spring Tea Exhibition was launched in the Hunan Province Exhibition Hall on May 8.

The four-day expo stages a series of activities including performances on tea ceremony in Han and Tang Dynasties, fragrant incense ceremony and spatial-art ikebana, forum on Buddhist and tea, the Second Famous Tea Auction, as well as exhibition of creative painting on palms, and tea clothes.

The expo has attracted over 500 well-known tea enterprises from home and abroad including Dark Tea Garden and Butterfly White Tea. It has also invited such masters in dark-red enameled craftwork as Zheng Qiubiao and Lu Wenjian to exhibit their craftworks and exchange their experiences. Excellent works by masters in painting and calligraphy, as well as many exquisite root carvings and ceramic artworks are exhibited at the expo.
