On March 19th,2014,The national protected animal crocodile turtle was found in Nan zhuang ping,Yongding District, Zhangjiajie city. People sent it to the forestry administration field station. After the preliminary appraisal, expert in Jishou university identified it as national 3A level animal.
In order to strengthen the protection, people set it free in the scenic spot.
