Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Offers Free Tickets to Primary and Middle School Students

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon announced free tickets to primary and middle school students all over the world from June 10, 2014 to December 31, 2015. This is a unique move among scenic spots across the country.

During the next year and a half, students below 19 years old would be able to enjoy free sightseeing (not including strop and slideway services) at Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon with student's IDs, ID cards, residence booklets or passports. This is the second time this scenic spot has offered free services to global primary and middle school students. This move aims to further implement education and promotion program of Beautiful China and Ecological Civilization, popularize biological and ecological knowledge and environmental protection and enhance students' awareness of ecological civilization.

The world's highest and longest glass bridge is under construction and scheduled to open to the public next April.
