Source from the official website of the activity has learned on Jan 12th, after the primary check, Zhangjiajie city enters the candidate cities of “China Culture & Tourism Famous City”, while Zhangjiajie scenic spot enters the candidate sites of “China Culture & Tourism Famous Scenic Spot”, which fully mainstream Zhangjiajie’s advantages and unique charming in culture and travel.
The activity adapts online voting and experts review methods for comprehensive assessment, aiming to implement the requirement of “Promoting the integrative development of culture and travel” put forward by the center government. It also gives support to the propaganda of “Beautiful China Journey” that by the National Tourism Bureau in terms of China’s overall image in travel and displays the beauty of nature, the beauty of humanity, the beauty of the society and the beauty of ecology of China’s travel.
