Between December 1, 2018 and February 28, 2019, Zhangjiajie will launch ten themed activities, and offer winter ticket discounts. Tourism activities include snow scenery-appreciating, folk customs-experiencing, and hot spring-enjoying.
Preferential ticket price information (Excluding 7-day Spring Festival Holiday) was released at the conference:
Wulingyuan Core Scenic Area:
115 yuan/person (Common ticket price)
58 yuan/person (Preferential ticket price);
Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area transportation (Including cableway, renewable energy shuttles, and upper staircase): 163 yuan/person;
Grand Canyon Scenic Spot: 78 yuan/person;
Ticket and transportation prices are lowered by 20% for Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, Baofeng Lake, Yangjiajie Cableway, and 10-li (5 km) Gallery Sightseeing Tram, among others.
Themed activities include:
Wulingyuan Mountain Climbing Celebration for New Year;
2018 China Zhangjiajie International Winter Swimming and Hot Spring Festival & 2nd Wanfu Hot Spring Water-splashing Festival;
Xibu Street Carnival & 2019 China Zhangjiajie Gannian Festival;
Lantern Festival Carnival.
Other activities that will be held at the same time include:
China Zhangjiajie Teenager TikTok Competition (TikTok also known as Douyin, is a social media app for creating and sharing videos as well as live broadcasting);
Second China Zhangjiajie International Tourism Poetry Festival.
All these activities will further enhance Zhangjiajie's popularity both at home and abroad.
