Zhangjiajie and Kouvola sign a memorandum of friendship

On October 11, 2018, Yu Huaimin, party secretary and executive deputy director of Zhangjiajie Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, led a delegation to visit Kouvola, Finland. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on travel city management, travel market development, and ecological environmental protection. Subsequently, the two cities signed a memorandum of friendship.

Ms. Kirsi Vainio, Director of Tourism Office of Kouvola City, extended a warm welcome to the delegation of Zhangjiajie. After seriously watching Zhangjiajie propaganda film, she said that Zhangjiajie is a beautiful place. I am very much looking forward to visiting Zhangjiajie. I hope that more Kouvola tourists can go to Zhangjiajie for sightseeing, further strengthen contact and promote cooperation.

Kouvola is a city and municipality in southeastern Finland. It is located on the Kymijoki River in the region of Kymenlaakso and 134 kilometres northeast of the capital, Helsinki.The city has a population of 83,600 and covers an area of 2,883.30 square kilometres.
