Tulip Festival Held in Zhangjiajie Old Taoist Bay

On 10th April, 500,000 Tulips from Holland with more than thirty species have play an important role in Zhangjiajie Old Taoist Bay,in which the first provincial tulip festival launched.During the tulip festival,hundreds of Chinese women dressed cheong-sam rambling among the tulips are as pretty as Fairies.Mr.Tao, vice general manager of Zhangjiajie Old Taoist Bay introduced that it is pretty rare to see “Guo Tai” in domestic,a kind of tulip named by Peng Liyuan,China’s first lady.Due the difficulty of plantation,Guo Tai tulip can only be arranged,therefore its blossom is short.

It is also said that visitors are welcomed to take part in the photography contest during this tulip festival on Old Taoist Bay official wechat platform.Besides,with the development of facilities,slip rope,water park,circus and romantic tree houses are available nowadays.

Zhangjiajie Old Taoist Bay, a mysterious and holy land, locates under the foot of the south of Tianmen Mountain in urban area of Zhangjiajie. It was given such a name because a Taoist priest whose name was Gui Guzi once cultivated himself and preached here. It is 7 kilometers from the downtown of Zhangjiajie and covers an area of over 9,000 acres. There exists so many kinds of rare plants and animals in it that the whole bay remains in a primitive state.
