On July 20, Director-General of Japan Tokushima International Tourism Administration and his delegation visited Changsha. Liu Xiaoyue, deputy director of the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Hunan Province hosted a symposium with the guests in Changsha to discuss exchange and cooperation in the future, and exchange views on officially signing friendly-relationship agreement.
Deputy Director Liu remarked that Hunan and Tokushima inked a letter of intent to establish friendly relation in last September. She hoped that cooperation agreement can be sealed in October this year through bilateral efforts. In addition, she hoped practical exchanges should be carried out in such fields as trade, travel, culture, education, medical treatment and physical culture to promote common development and prosperity.
The Director-General agreed with Liu, and promised to facilitate the establishment of friendly relation.
