The Second Guiyang Culture and Art Festival held its opening ceremony in Ouyang Hai Square of Guiyang County on December 19. Li Xiping, vice director of the Standing Committee of Changsha Municipal People's Congress, attended the opening ceremony.
Themed with "A Beautiful Guiyang", the 6-day festival will consist of three main events following the opening ceremony, namely, "Songs along Chongling River", "Discoveries of an Ancient City" and "Happy Guiyang". The festival will conclude with an awarding ceremony. In addition, painting, calligraphy and photography exhibitions will also be staged successively from December 19th to 31st.
