On July 6, 2016, Yicheng Tianxia Environmental-friendly Passenger Transport Company, a passenger transport service agency serving at core scenic area of Zhangjiajie, completed 100 million kilometers in safe operation. No accident has occurred since the start of the company 13 years ago. The company has become China’s first model in safe and environmental-friendly passenger transport operation for 100 million kilometers in scenic areas.
On the morning of the same day, interactions with tourists were held on eco-coaches and a music flash mob was organized at Ten-mile Gallery Square to commemorate this significant moment of completing 100 million kilometers of safe operation, and to further increase staff’s awareness of security.
Those tourists who took the eco-coaches on the celebration day were named as “Yi Angel” by the company. These “Yi Angels” not only enjoyed free access to cableway in Yangjiajie, sightseeing electric cars in Ten-mile Gallery, and Baofeng Lake, but also were presented with silver ornament souvenirs.
