On November 30, Vice Governor of Hunan Province Huang Lanxiang met in Zhuzhou with Minister of the Ministry of Transport of Malaysia Liow Tiong Lai and Chairman of CSR Corporation Limited Liu Hualong. They held friendly talks about deepening cooperation between Hunan and Malaysia and between CSR with Malaysia.
Vice Governor Huang, on behalf of the Hunan Provincial People's Government, extended sincere welcome to the delegation headed by Minister Liow Tiong Lai, and hearty congratulations on the cooperation between Malaysia and CSR. She expected CSR to further provide high-quality solutions to the problems of rail transit system, and make more contributions to railway undertakings in ASEAN countries and meter-gage countries.
Mr. Liow Tiong Lai stated that Malaysia and CSR have signed five projects with a total of 98 orders. Two subsidiaries of CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd. have settled in Malaysia, functioning as the most powerful motivator of rail transit equipment. Malaysia was also more than willing to conduct comprehensive cooperation with Hunan in other fields.
