Emcee Zhang Dandan (1st L), famous oil painter Chang Jiahuang (3rd R), head of the Chinese National Geography Press Li Shuanke (2nd R), and dean of the Graduate School of Landscape Architecture of Peking University Yu Kongjian (1st R)“Interview with Celebrities” of the 1st China International Culture-Tourism Festival was held in Zhangjiajie on Oct. 23. The emcee of the Hunan Satellite TV Zhang Dandan hosted the discussion on the theme of “integration and development of culture and travel” with such six distinguished guests as Chang Jiahuang, a famous oil painter of China, Li Shuanke, head of the Chinese National Geography Press, Yu Kongjian, dean of the Graduate School of Landscape Architecture of Peking University, as well as Mei Shuaiyuan, founder of the live-action in China, Wei Xiaoan, head of the academic committee at the China Travel Research Academy and Rong Zhong Er Jia, famous singer of the Zang nationality.
The guests present at the interview shared their travel stories and gave opinions on the topics of “Culture and Tourism”, “Art Performance and Tourism”, “Brand Planning and Tourism” and in-depth thinking in China’s Culture-travel. As they see it, culture, as the foundation of travel, should be an eternal theme for the tourist destinations.
