From March 27 to 28, Hunan Tourism Bureau respectively held the Promotion Meeting for Tourism Products by High-speed Railway in Shijiazhuang, provincial capital of Hebei Province in northern China, and Beijing, capital of China.
It is the first time that the activity themed "Splendid Xiaoxiang, Happy Hunan" has been promoted in Beijing and Hebei since the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway opened to traffic on December 26, 2012. The meeting aims to promote beautiful, curious and interesting travel products with Hunan characteristics and main travel routes.
During the meeting, Hunan Tourism Bureau introduced seven travel products such as tours for Hunan scenic spots, happy leisure travels in Changsha, Huxiang culture travels, tours for hometowns of celebrities, the tours for the waters and mountains in southern Hunan, the tours for seeking roots and praying and the tours for enjoying Hunan food.
Yang said the opening of Bejing-Guangzhou high-speed railway facilitates the travel from Hunan to Beijing and Hebei Province. It takes only five hours from Changsha to Shijiazhuang, and five and a half hours to Beijing.
He also expressed his hope that Hunan will enhance cooperation and communication with Beijing and Hebei in travel based on the development of high-speed railway, and work together to develop high-speed railway travel products, upgrade the quality of high-speed railway travel service, and improve the construction of high-speed railway travel facilities.
On March 28, Hunan holds the travel promotion meeting in Beijing.
