From December 6 to 8, “Hunan Culture in Thailand”, a cultural activity held in Bangkok, started a Hunan cultural craze in Thailand. During the activity, the cultural product exhibiting zone of Hunan received over 10,000 visitors. Since December 14, nearly 40 Thailand media and Chinese media in Thailand have joined and reported the activity.
This is Hunan’s first large scale cultural promotion in Thailand, and a successful attempt at the publicity strategy of “opening up and going global”.
Xu Yousheng, director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, served as head of the delegation of “Hunan Culture in Thailand”. He said, “The activity is well organized, and has reaped fruitful result in exchange.”
During the activity, exhibition of Hunan cultural product was held, and Hunan Radio and Television Station and Chia Tai Group inked cooperation agreement to promote Hunan travel resources among Thai people. The delegation was also invited to visit the Grand Palace Menam River.
