On September 23, source from Hunan travel bureau has learned that national travel attraction rating committee has officially ratified Lianyuan Mei-River scenic spot to be a national 4A travel attraction. This is the second card “National brand” after it has been honored “Hunan Mei River National Geo-park” by national land and resource bureau on Jan.
Bestowed with splendid scenery, unique geology and special culture, Mei River scenic spot is praised as “A elegancy in Hunan”, “A wonder in Chuxiang”and “Mei river in China”, what is more, it is regarded as a new growth pole in Hunan’s travel and is confirmed a water and river excellent travel route and Dameishan cultural and travel route. Initiated in 2012,Mei River national 4A travel attraction received a fund of 180 Million RMB from Lianyuan city and was constructed according to ”Ecological, standard and specific”. It has passed assessment from travel experts from Loudi city, provincial and national sectors.
Person in charge of Lianyuan travel bureau indicates the approval of Lianyuan to be a national 4A travel attraction signs its view quality and travel quality are ratified, which is a milestone for its development and is to enhance Lianyuan travel brand to a height; efforts should be taken on high-end travel products and types; strengthen sightseeing travel products and activate rural travel products and refine holiday travel products; all of these will built Mei River scenic spot to a mature travel product that is consistent with its resources and a a national 4A travel attraction.
