Guizhou and Hunan will strengthen the cooperation on travel industry and jointly build the Hunan-Guizhou Golden Tourism Zone, in a bid to boost the bilateral travel integration.
The two sides inked the Framework Agreement on Enhancing the Strategic Cooperation between Guizhou and Hunan in Guiyang City on the evening of April 11. According to the agreement, mutual efforts will be exerted to build a Hunan-Guizhou Golden Tourism Zone and promote such quality tourist routes as Zhangjiajie-Fenghuang-Fanjing Mountain. Great endeavors will be made to integrate the red travel resources, create classic red travel routes, open up green channels for red travel and explore the travel resources of Qingshui River.
The two provinces proposed to implement cross-provincial plan for travel and leisure by co-organizing travel cultural exchange meetings, travel fairs as well as travel promotion conferences. The two sides will also map out the travel cooperation plan, with traffic lines as its link and key scenic spots as its base, so as to develop classic tourist routes.
